Our client is one of the world’s largest providers of e-learning solutions and one of the fastest growing technology companies in Europe. Recent expansion has created an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Senior Product Manager to become part of this success.

Key Responsibilities

1.      Define and execute the strategy for multiple Product Portfolios

a.      Understand the demand dynamics in the markets in which your products are sold. This includes working with customers, prospects, partners, awarding bodies and influencers.

b.      Enhance the company’s position of thought leadership in our chosen sectors

c.      Work closely with other teams to execute business plan and achieve your portfolios’ revenue targets

d.      Carry a revenue target by product line, monitor sales to ensure targets are achieved and communicate progress to senior management

2.      Develop and present business cases for investment in new product development for your portfolios

a.      Develop new product ideas based on industry knowledge and on-going contact with stakeholders

b.      Systematically evaluate new product opportunities using existing  Product Management planning and analysis tools and present them in a concise and compelling format to senior management

c.      Define the customer proposition and develop a revenue forecast

3.      Define the scope of new training solutions in conjunction with software architects and instructional designers

4.      Manage the life cycle of new products

a.      Define and execute the internal and external launch plans for new products to ensure

                                                              i.      the sales teams understand product positioning, key benefits, and target customers

                                                             ii.      target revenue is achieved

b.      Be the evangelist for your products and portfolios, both inside and outside the organization.

c.      Ensure your products remain aligned to changing customer and market requirements

d.      Manage upgrade, migration and ‘end of life’ activities

5.      Line management of a Product Manager to support you in executing the plan

Candidate Profile

  • 4 years+ Product Management experience
  • Managing people
  • Working in the IT industry
  • Sector experience in either Health & Social Care, Hospitality or Corporate Training

Core Requirements

  • Third level marketing / business qualification (or equivalent work experience) and/or postgraduate CIM Qualification.
  • Knowledge of basic LAN/WAN technologies.
