Our client is a well established and expanding company offering IT and business skills training and consultancy services to both the public and private sector in the UK. In a growing market, their client portfolio contains many blue chip companies. They are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager.
Role Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for a creative and dynamic Marketing Manager to drive the growth of the company forward and raise their profile within the training industry.
Key Responsibilities
The successful Marketing Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s marketing programme from determining the marketing strategy through to implementation of marketing initiatives, including:
- Development and maintenance of the website
- Managing marketing campaigns from concept through to delivery and reporting.
- Management of the brand through the production of all company literature, press releases and other industry communications.
- Take a key role in proactive customer service to ensure our client are a leader in its field
- Market research
- Managing and maintaining accurate data using an electronic CRM system
- Managing the marketing budget effectively
- Event management including organising stands at exhibitions and conferences and corporate hospitality
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of business to business marketing
- Proven ability to increase sales via effective marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Proven ability to increase market awareness in a variety of areas, particularly web marketing, email marketing and creating and managing direct mail campaigns
- Comfortable with web technologies and e-marketing strategies and understanding what makes a marketing campaign successful
- Commercially aware and able to think strategically but also pay attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
