Our client is a global leader in the provision of e.Learning and performance improvement solutions with an enviable client list which hosts many of the world’s largest organisations. They are currently seeking an accomplished sales professional with an excellent track record in Channel Account Management.

 

Key Responibilities:

The successful Channel Account Manager will be responsible for:

 

  • Managing a broad territory, working as liaison between our channel partners and direct sales force
  • Achieving individual quota: through signing of new resellers, alliances and by driving incremental revenue through existing partners.
  • Building and maintaining strong long-term partner relationships
  • Leveraging strategic partnerships to shorten sales cycles and increase revenues for direct and channel partners
  • Coordinating and managing product training and sales activity with resellers and strategic partners.
  • Collaborating with the Global Business Development Managers and RAE's to facilitate communications and coordinate the sales process between them and our channel partners
  • Co-operating with Channel Learning  Consultant regarding partners' data collection, administration for order processing, lead generation, and sales tracking
  • Possibly managing the overall process of localisation in specific territories in collaboration with the localisation team
  • Occasional financial negotiation and collection.

 

Job Requirements:

The successful candidates will possess the following attributes:

  • Prior experience (preferred) working with channel partners and/or managingVARrelationships
  • A background which includes a minimum of 5 years  successful sales experience to large customers
  • A history of exceeding annual sales quotas for at least the last 3 consecutive years
  • Demonstrable Marketing experience
  • Proven managerial experience and ability

 

Skills Desired:

  • Ability to call at all levels, especially "C" level executives
  • Formal and demonstrable understanding of Solution/Consultative Selling
  • Ability to make decisions on sales direction, strategy, business case viability and partner collaboration
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English, additional languages would help to drive the business as well
  • Proven facilitation/presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated and able to act on own initiative
  • Works with a sense of urgency and has a positive winning attitude
  • Detail oriented with strong organisational skills
  • Desktop software (e.g. Word/Excel/PPT) and Internet awareness.
