Our client is seeking an experienced E-Learning Developer to create engaging interactions, animations and enhancing e-learning experiences for existing and new course material throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Understand and translate information provided by the Subject Matter Expert (SME) into compelling and engaging deliverables
  • Make complex content easy to understand by use of writing style appropriate to audience
  • Translate source content into illustrations and animations for instructional materials
  • Write instructional materials for delivery via e-learning platforms' blended learning (live classroom and virtual workshops) environments and mobile and web 2.0 platforms

 Candidate Skills & Experience

  •  Minimum 3 years experience in online development
  • Excellent visual design skills and the ability to storyboard and create scripts
  • Proven skills in creation and production of engaging quality content
  • Working knowledge of user-centred design principles
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Solid experience within a Web 2.0, social media production environment
  • Experience of creating concepts and delivering them through to final production
  • Strong experience of Flash ActionScript 2 and 3, Photoshop or Fireworks, XHTML, CSS, XML
  • Javascript, JQuery, Articulate SDK, SCORM 2004, HTML
  • Instructional Design / E-learning design experience
  • HTML5/CSS3 (desirable)
  • Excellent written English
  • Experience in a commercial e-learning design environment is an advantage
