Our client is a leading provider of training, learning and development programmes to a wide variety of organisations across the UK and internationally. They are now seeking to appoint an experienced Management Trainer to provide excellent quality training and event design, delivery and support to this organisation’s customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 'soft skills' training programmes to customers as requested e.g. management, sales, communications etc.
- Creating and modifying high quality course material for delivery to target audiences
- Planning and organising training programmes and events
- Ensuring effective communication and timely liaison with the Learning and Development Coordinators, Client Manager and Sales lead both before and after the programme
- Successful delivery of training programmes attending to the needs of the delegates throughout the duration of the programme
- Attending to the needs of the customer before, during and after each training programme in conjunction with the Client Manager and Learning and Development Coordinator
- Accepting and acting appropriately of any feedback during and following each programme and providing feedback to the client manager on each programme
- Maximising the relationships with delegates and customers to ensure repeat and further business
- Providing financial information promptly when requested about course expenses
- Actively seek new business for themselves and the organisation as a whole
- Make effective use of non training days to develop/create new programmes, exercises and activities and improve existing programmes
- Support the Business Development Director as and when required to help grow the business, develop marketing materials, write proposals or undertake other sales and marketing activities as agreed
- With the support of the HR Director, take responsibility for self-development to ensure skills are up to date and relevant for the market conditions and client needs.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years management development training experience encompassing the whole learning cycle from design through to evaluation
- Experience of delivering management training to corporate clients
- Strong knowledge of learning methodologies such as Myers Briggs
- A 'can do' creative outlook with the ability to adapt styles depending on audience
