Our client is a fast growing, dynamic and customer service focused organisation with an enviable growth track record. They now have the perfect opportunity for an experienced Sales Trainer who is adept within all aspects of the learning life cycle.
This role will support the Learning and Development Manager through the delivery, development and implementation of the sales training cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of induction, sales and customer service programmes via instructor led courses in the classroom and providing desk side coaching.
- Provide management feedback and input into employees initial career management.
- Support the development of existing company sales training interventions - working from existing material develop and ensure it is fit for purpose and ensure the courses align with the organisations existing and future sales strategies.
- Carry out the delivery of 'soft skills' training including both existing and new sales training courses.
- Deliver and support rolling training programmes to all staff, including co-ordination, diary management and set up of training.
- Coaching desk side performance coaching. From identified individual development needs, gather feedback from line management and perform real time structured desk side coaching.
- Provide support to the development of the sales force and training strategy through the evaluation of existing courses, implement recommendations for the continuous improvement of programmes and training activity.
- Create new training modules and programmes aligned with the needs of the organisation
Candidate Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of two years experience in the design and delivery of customer service and/or sales training
- Strong experience of the full training life cycle from Training Needs Analysis (TNA) through to delivery and evaluation.
- Excellent coaching and instructor led training experience
- An enthusiastic, creative personality with a 'hands-on', operational approach to training
- Flexible, 'can do' approach
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Proficient with PowerPoint and Word
