Sales Manager - Learning Solutions

£45K-£50K Basic Salary + £70K OTE

An exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager with proven strong leadership skills, to join a successful and well-established learning services company. You will be responsible for managing, coaching and mentoring the sales team, as well as playing an active part in hands-on business development.

This role requires flexible travel to several client sites around the London area.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales team, identifying skill development opportunities, coaching and mentoring
  • Actively develop new business and work towards an individual sales target
  • Collaborate with individual team members to develop territory and/or industry sectors and ensure that opportunities are identified and executed
  • Embed a proactive, target driven and enthusiastic mindset and culture
  • Play a big part in team mentoring by conducting regular team meetings, one-to-ones and appraisals
  • Lead the recruitment and induction of new staff members in your team and substitute for the Head of Sales as and when needed

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications desirable

Education

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent desirable

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience consultatively selling learning solutions
  • Have experience managing a team and proven coaching and mentoring skills
  • Proven track record growing sales team revenues and achieving team targets
  • Experience working with multifunctional and/or multi-national teams is essential
  • Experience writing reports to increase productivity
  • Demonstrable success writing winning bids and sales proposals (Either individually or collaboratively)
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a customer focused approach
