Business Development Manager

£35K-£40K Basic Salary + Bonus

Do you have a natural talent for sales and hunting potential opportunities but also enjoy the after sales/client relationship management? If so, I’m working with a digital learning solutions provider who are looking to recruit for this outstanding hybrid position. This role has some flexibility to be home based depending on location.

Key responsibilities

  • Undertake business development and lead generation duties to grow digital sale
  • Confidently sell a range of digital learning solutions and SAAS solution
  • Consultatively create bespoke solutions for corporate and commercial clients
  • Maintain relationships by account managing a selection of key accounts, developing and upselling whenever possible
  • Meet with and present product demonstration to c-level clients
  • Hit and exceed a personal sales target
  • Promote the company at networking events and exhibitions

Qualifications

  • Any sales training qualifications are desirable

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable

Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a consultative sales position
  • Ideally 2-3 years’ experience selling digital learning and or SAAS solutions
  • Experience building up a client base and realistic sales pipeline
  • Good knowledge of the L&D/elearning sector is desirable
  • A keen interest the latest technologies and keeping up with recent developments
  • Experience hitting a personal sales target
