eLearning Content Developer (9 Month FTC)

An exciting opportunity for an eLearning Content Developer to join a well-established further education institute. You’ll be developing engaging content whilst overseeing the project to ensure the content is of high quality and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and design engaging e-learning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate
  • Upload content onto the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to understand requirements and determine suitable solutions
  • Utilise the Adobe suite to create animation and graphics for the eLearning
  • Update and amend existing e-learning content when required
  • Overseeing the project lifecycle to ensure the content is of high quality, delivered on time and to budget


  • Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2) is an advantage


  • Educated to degree level in learning technologies, graphic design or multimedia is desirable


  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an e-learning content development role
  • Experience of managing projects, ensuring timescales are met and working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience of developing engaging content in Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
  • Experience of using HTML (5) to create mobile learning would be beneficial


  • Proficient in developing creative eLearning
  • Knowledge of authoring tools and the Adobe Suite
  • Excellent project co-ordination and organisational skills
  • A sound understanding of learning methodologies and instructional design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
