Learning and Development Manager

Up to £40K Basic Salary

We’re looking for a Learning and Development manager to lead a progressive L&D strategy across a varied workforce.

Ideally you will have a logistics/catering background and have experience working in a fast-paced multi-site environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and ensure continuous progression of the L&D function
  • Create and deliver innovative and bespoke learning strategies and interventions
  • Manage the training budget for the business and source cost effective solutions
  • Manage the outsourcing of any identified internal L&D requirements
  • Implement various learning methods company wide (e.g. eLearning, coaching etc.)
  • Coordinate training and development activity
  • Manage a Learning and Development Advisor, mentoring them in their role

Qualifications

  • A qualification in project management is desirable

Education

  • Educated in a range of L&D methods

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Learning and Development Manager, Training Manager or similar is essential
  • People management experience

Skills

  • Proactive and resilient with the initiative to drive to achieve results
  • Able to work on own initiative with a strong attention to detail
