Trainer – Learning and Development

£30K - £35K Basic Salary + Benefits + Car

If you are an experienced trainer in a customer service or retail environment then we have a fantastic new role for you!

This is a superb opportunity to design and deliver a variety of training courses for varied workforce. You’ll work across all levels of the business to create proactive and responsive solutions to increase organisational performance. Other details *The role will include extensive travel across the UK and you can expect to be on the road 3-4 days per week with the remaining time working from home *Standard working hours are 40 per week, but due to the nature of the business the role requires frequent need to work outside of standard business hours

Key responsibilities

  • Review existing training requirements for employees and design and develop new programmes to meet business needs
  • Deliver training courses across the UK and ensure training is of the highest standard
  • Design and implement training plans and update existing material to meet new training ideas and initiatives
  • Organise and develop training manuals, visual aids and other learning materials
  • Coordinate training venues, logistics, accommodation and travel as required

Qualifications

  • A driving license is essential for this role and a company car will be provided

Education

  • Educated in a range of training techniques

Experience

  • Previous experience designing and delivering training in a customer facing organisation for staff and management is essential
  • Experience designing and delivering a range of training interventions
  • Previous experience with behavioral training will be an advantage

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to different learning styles and needs of the business
  • Good influencing skills and an ability to gain buy in from relevant
