Business Development Training Lead

£70K-£90K Basic Salary

An outstanding opportunity within a global professional services organisation in London. This role involves top level stakeholder engagement and relationship management combined with knowledge of Learning and Development (L&D) and training experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Understand the needs of C-level decision makers within business development teams and designing programmes to fit these needs
  • Fully understand how sales teams work and identify any areas of improvement
  • Lead the design and delivery of any business development related training
  • Facilitate the courses and be confident in the sales subject matter (sales, negotiation, influencing, presenting etc.)
  • Manage and oversee a team of coordinators who arrange venues, dates and times for courses
  • Review and evaluate on courses success and make improvements when necessary
  • Review and report monthly on feedback, performance and attendance of courses

Qualifications

  • Any sales training qualifications are desirable

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable

Experience

  • Experience working within a professional services background with a good working knowledge of structures etc.
  • 5 years’ experience working within a client facing/business development position
  • Excellent understanding of the Learning and Development (L&D) industry
  • Proven experience designing face-to-face training solutions
  • Facilitation of learning sessions
  • Project managing/evaluation of a portfolio of courses
  • Management of a small team
