Leadership Development Facilitator (6 month contract)

Our client, a well-established international organisation, is seeking an experienced Leadership Development Facilitator to join their Learning & Development team on a six-month contract basis. This role will focus on delivering engaging and practical management development programmes to managers across the business. The successful candidate will be a confident facilitator who can create an interactive learning environment, encourage discussion, and translate complex people-management topics into practical workplace applications. Alongside training delivery, the role will involve supporting the coordination and smooth running of learning events. This role is London-based (onsite 4 days out of 5 a week).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver interactive management development workshops to managers across the organisation.
  • Facilitate training programmes covering topics such as: difficult conversations, people management skills, performance management, managing workplace issues, and employment law fundamentals for managers
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and discussion.
  • Adapt delivery style to suit different audiences and learning needs.
  • Support the administration and coordination of training sessions, including: delegate management, room bookings and setup, liaison with venues and catering providers
  • Build credibility with learners and confidently facilitate discussions around sensitive people-related topics.
  • Gather feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of learning programmes.

Skills and experience

  • Experience delivering management, leadership, or people-management training programmes.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Practical understanding of employment law and people-management best practice.
  • Ability to manage sensitive discussions professionally and confidently.
  • Accredited Insights Discovery Facilitator.
  • Previous HR experience or experience partnering closely with HR teams is ideal.
  • Experience supporting the logistics and coordination of learning events.
