Working in partnership with the Learning & Performance Institute
Blue Eskimo is the Learning & Performance Institute’s only recruitment partner and a Capability Map Ambassador.
A unique relationship
Blue Eskimo and the LPI have a unique and close working relationship. Blue Eskimo is the LPI’s only accredited recruitment partner and is a global Capability Map Ambassador. The LPI’s CEO, Ed Monk, also serves on Blue Eskimo’s management team in a non-executive role. Blue Eskimo sponsors many of the LPI’s events and the two organisations work together to both exchange information and shape strategy.

Alignment to the LPI’s Capability Map
The Capability Map is a unique, easy-to-use tool which structures your skills information into an internationally recognised L&D skills benchmark. Each of our job roles is aligned to the LPI’s Capability Map, to make hiring more precise. For L&D professionals and hiring organisations, the Capability Map is an essential companion to the traditional (but less accurate) CV/résumé. We recommend that all learning professionals use the Capability Map when applying for jobs and that hiring organisations align their job roles to it. Find out more | Get your Capability Map

Benefits for job-hunters
We encourage all L&D professionals to become LPI members – those who sign up for updates with Blue Eskimo are entitled to 20% off membership of the LPI. That’s a saving of between around £20 and £30, depending on the level of membership. We’ve also placed the LPI’s Capability Map at the heart of our recruitment processes – this is free to use, even for non-members of the LPI.
