Marketing Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to establish and lead the marketing function for a respected provider of executive education and professional training. With a strong international client base and ambitious growth plans, this organisation is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to shape strategy, build systems, and deliver measurable business impact.Youll enjoy the freedom to design best practice marketing approaches from the ground up, positioning the brand in key markets and driving new client acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an integrated marketing strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Manage budgets and ensure campaigns achieve strong ROI.
  • Lead digital marketing activity including SEO, paid search, email, and social.
  • Oversee brand development, ensuring messaging and design reflect a modern training business.
  • Produce engaging content, collateral, and course-specific campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with agencies, contractors, and media partners.
  • Mentor and manage a junior marketing colleague.
  • Track performance through data and analytics.

Skills

  • 10+ years in marketing, ideally within training, education, or consultancy.
  • Proven record of delivering ROI and ROAS through digital and integrated campaigns.
  • Strong background in brand development, messaging, and positioning.
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, and external suppliers.
  • International market experience within training/education (desirable).
  • Expertise in SEO, paid media, content, and email marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach, comfortable in a lean SME environment.
  • Creative flair with an eye for design and strong storytelling.

Experience

  • 10 years in marketing, ideally within training, education, or consultancy.
  • Proven record of delivering ROI and ROAS through digital and integrated campaigns.
  • Strong background in brand development, messaging, and positioning.
  • Experience managing budgets, agencies, and external suppliers.
  • International market experience within trainingeducation desirable.

Education

  • Degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Professional marketing certifications e.g. CIM, IDM are desirable.
