Digital Learning Designer (6 Month Contract)

£350 Per day (Inside IR35)

An opportunity to join a globally recognised professional services organisation, supporting the design and delivery of high-quality digital learning solutions across a diverse and fast-paced environment.This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of projects, collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business. Youll play a key role in shaping engaging, impactful learning experiences, while influencing how digital and blended learning is delivered at scale.This role is a 6-month contract (inside IR35) which can be worked remotely (UK).

Responsibilities

  • Design innovative digital and blended learning solutions aligned to business needs
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of learning projects, from scoping through to delivery and evaluation
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, influencing and guiding design decisions
  • Lead or support project delivery, ensuring timelines and expectations are met
  • Translate complex subject matter into clear, engaging and effective learning experiences
  • Create design documentation and proposals that clearly articulate solutions for stakeholder sign-off
  • Apply learning theory, best practice and emerging technologies to deliver impactful outcomes
  • Facilitate scoping sessions and workshops with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Digital Content Developers, who will build the learning using authoring tools, e.g. Storyline, Rise and Adobe CC Suite
  • Manage review cycles and guide stakeholders through the development process
  • Work closely with developers and LMS teams to ensure smooth implementation and testing
  • Ensure solutions are compatible with learning platforms and deliver a seamless user experience

Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Confident facilitating discussions with stakeholders and SMEs
  • Highly organised with strong project management capability
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work across teams
  • Creative thinking with a focus on user experience
  • Interest in AI and emerging learning technologies

Experience

  • Proven experience designing and delivering digital and blended learning solutions
  • Experience working in professional services or highly regulated environments
  • Experience managing the full learning design lifecycle scoping, design, development, evaluation
  • Strong understanding of modern learning technologies and how to apply them effectively
  • Experience supporting learning developers
  • Familiarity with integrating learning solutions into LMS platforms
  • Exposure to AI in learning design desirable

Education

  • Relevant experience in digital learning design, instructional design, or a related field
