Digital Learning Designer (AI Skills)

Our client is seeking an experienced Learning Designer to create engaging, high-impact digital and blended learning solutions focused on AI literacy and future skills development. This role sits within a fast-growing, innovation-led environment supporting large enterprise clients to build practical AI capability across their workforce.At its core, this is a hands-on learning design role requiring strong digital learning expertise combined with a solid understanding of workplace AI tools and concepts. You will translate complex subject matter into compelling, business-relevant learning experiences delivered at pace and to high-quality standards.This role is a 12-month FTC.

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging digital and blended learning experiences focused on AI capability development
  • Create structured learning journeys across e-learning, virtual sessions, workshops and supporting resources
  • Translate complex AI and digital topics into accessible, practical learning solutions
  • Embed adult learning principles, behavioural insight and measurable outcomes into programme design
  • Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to shape relevant learning content
  • Quality assure learning outputs from freelance designers and multimedia specialists
  • Manage timelines to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent projects
  • Leverage tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini to enhance learning design workflows

     

    Skills

    • Strong digital learning design capability across multi-modal solutions
    • Practical familiarity with AI tools and workplace AI applications
    • Advanced experience with Articulate Rise and Storyline
    • Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
    • Strong stakeholder engagement and organisational capability
    • High attention to detail and ability to deliver at pace

    Experience

    • Proven experience as a Learning Designer or Instructional Designer in corporate or agencyconsultancy environments
    • Experience designing enterprise-scale or transformation-focused learning programmes
    • Exposure to AI literacy, digital skills or future workforce capability initiatives beneficial

    Education

    • Learning, instructional design or digital learning qualification desirable
