L&D Account Manager - Public Sector

We're after an exceptional Account Manager with a knack for client relations and strategic prowess, particularly within the Public Sector, to join our prestigious client, a leading global Learning provider known for its versatility. Your mastery of innovative solutions for learning, communication, marketing, and design will truly set you apart. Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales growth targets as per business expectations
  • Develop strategies to uncover new business and client prospects within the public sector through lead generation, cold calling, and direct outreach
  • Manage customer accounts within your territory, including contract negotiations to optimise profitability
  • Cultivate and nurture positive relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor across key accounts
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to execute new business campaigns aligned with the sales strategy
  • Devise and implement mutually beneficial strategies for the company and clients
  • Forecast and monitor key account metrics such as pipeline, quarterly sales, and annual forecasts
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within the territory
  • Expand the customer portfolio
  • Take ownership of client accounts and contribute significantly to the team's success

Skills

  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Persuasive and confident in creative projects
  • Target-driven and dynamic
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving
  • Effective communication and influence with executives
  • Account growth management with detail orientation
  • Strong verbal and written communication

Experience

  • Proven capability in consultative selling, combined with proficiency in managing sales pipelines
  • Demonstrated ability to sell customised digital and blended learning solutions
  • Successful track record in Business Development, Account Management, Sales, or relevant Public Sector roles
  • Exposure to the Learning and Development sector is vital

Education

  • Relevant qualifications and certifications are advantageous
