Sales Development Specialist - L&D

£35K-£40K Basic + £65K OTE

An exciting career opportunity for an ambitious and natural sales hunter with a global blended learning solutions provider with an enviable Corporate client base.If you have already proved yourself as a successful lead generation specialist but are not being offered a clear progression path, our client has a structure whereby a move into an account management position is achievable within 12-18 months.As an integral part of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new leads for their learning solutions, harnessing existing and curated data sources and will undertake high levels of outbound activity across multiple channels to uncover leads. This role is London office based twice a week.

Responsibilities

  • Adopt a structured and focused approach to reach new and existing target markets using multiple channels including LinkedIn, e-mail, telephone and other sales tools
  • Conduct follow up activity to support lead cultivation and marketing campaigns
  • Research target accounts to identify the appropriate ‘ideal client profile’ (ICP)
  • Record all activity accurately and promptly in the CRM
  • Achieve set KPI's such as qualified leads and meetings
  • Continuously and further develop your knowledge of learning and development to enable in-depth and credible conversations with relevant stakeholders

Skills

  • Proven ability to rapidly build rapport with prospects, demonstrating credibility and quickly earning their trust
  • A proactive approach to conducting outbound client communications
  • Articulate with strong verbal and written business English skills
  • Well organised, possessing excellent prioritisation and time management skills
  • Target and results driven, commission hungry
  • Genuine interest in learning and talent development
  • Good working knowledge of CRM’s

Experience

  • Successful track record of at least one year in B2B lead generation
  • Experience working for a commercial LD provider is an advantage

Education

  • A degree or equivalent is an advantage
