Our client, a leading global training provider is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to drive growth across its EMEA and North America markets. Delivering cutting-edge professional training this organisation blends digital learning, virtual and classroom experiences to support corporate and individual development.In this Player/Manager role, youll oversee new business development and account management, ensuring multi-year contracts and high-value solutions are a key focus. Experience leading sales teams in a commercial L&D or IT arena is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets across EMEA & NAM regions
  • Lead, coach and develop a geographically distributed sales team
  • Build structured training plans that enhance product and industry knowledge
  • Set and manage clear KPIs and sales objectives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing, product and operations, developing the sales strategy, shaping performance and championing sales excellence
  • Oversee pipeline health, forecasting accuracy and performance reporting
  • Drive prospecting, sales calls and solution-focused client engagement
  • Ensure consistent account management and client retention strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaign execution to win new logos
  • Align sales strategy with operational systems and commercial priorities
  • Monitor industry developments and lead knowledge sharing initiatives

Skills

  • Strong negotiation, presentation and consultative selling skills
  • Deep understanding of structured pipeline management and CRM usage
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, client-led environment
  • Skilled in GTM strategy development, reporting and executive communication
  • Familiarity with SalesForce, SalesLoft and other modern sales tools
  • Able to manage hybrid or remote teams and drive accountability across regions

Experience

  • Experience leading and coaching high-performance sales teams
  • Proven success in B2B sales within commercial learning, IT, or technology services
  • Experience leading by example in a playermanager capacity
  • International sales leadership experience, ideally EMEA andor North America

Education

  • A degree or equivalent in an IT or management related field is an advantage.
