Retail Trainer (12 Month FTC)

Blue Eskimo is delighted to be supporting a well known retail brand with the appointment of an L&D Trainer to support a high-profile learning programme across their store network.This is a hands on, delivery focused assignment where you will play a key role in embedding a newly developed capability framework designed to enhance performance across store teams and management populations. You will be facilitating training to stores in the Northern region 2-3 days a week, with some home working and occasional visits to the London head office. This role would be suitable for someone located in Manchester or nearby.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, practical learning interventionsto retail employees across the Northern region

  • Support the rollout of a newly designed training programme aligned to defined standards of “what good looks like” in store environments

  • Collaborate closely with the People team and external consultancy partners to refine and evolve learning content

  • Contribute to light development activity, adapting materials based on real-time feedback from the field

Skills

  • Retail or multi-site learning delivery and facilitation

  • Ability to embed behavioural / capability frameworks within operational teams

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and autonomous project working

Experience

  • Proven track record in design and delivery of learning solutions
  • Experience of training in a retail or similar multi-site environment

Education

  • CIPD or similar experience
