Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging SQL and database training across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels
- Facilitate both virtual and in-person sessions for a range of audiences
- Design and develop high-quality training materials, modules, and learning resources
- Adapt delivery style and content to suit different learning needs and experience levels
- Continuously update training content in line with industry developments and best practice
- Support the development of new and evolving course offerings
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure training aligns with learners needs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and external partners where required
Skills
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to engage and motivate a wide range of learners
- Organised with strong time management skills
- Comfortable adapting content and delivery approaches
Experience
- Experience delivering SQL training across platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQLMariaDB
- Experience designing and delivering structured learning programmes or workshops
- Experience working in a professional or corporate training environment
- Exposure to Oracle APEX would be advantageous
Education
- Relevant experience in delivering technical or IT training
- A background in databases, SQL, or software development
