Responsibilities

  • Support learners through their qualification journey, providing clear, structured, and actionable feedback
  • Assess learner work and track progress against programme requirements
  • Deliver guidance on assessment processes across both online and classroom settings
  • Conduct Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) to ensure consistency, compliance, and high standards
  • Mentor and support assessors, promoting best practice and standardisation
  • Manage your caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and quality expectations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment materials and processes
  • Identify and address any issues relating to plagiarism or malpractice
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to enhance learning quality

Experience

  • Experience assessing or supporting learners in a professional or technical environment
  • Experience delivering structured, constructive feedback
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel
  • Experience working with regulated qualifications or awarding bodies is desirable

Education

  • Level 4 qualification in Teaching and Learning or equivalent
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English, or relevant experience
