We’re working with a leading organisation to recruit an LMS Administrator and Developer to support the effective configuration, development and ongoing management of its digital learning systems.
This is a key role within the learning function, working closely with L&D colleagues and wider Digital & Technology teams to ensure that learning platforms and systems are configured effectively, provide a positive learner experience and support the organisation’s wider learning strategy.
You’ll act as the key point of contact for digital learning system configuration and implementation, with responsibility spanning LMS/LXP administration, user management, reporting, system optimisation, testing and governance.

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the configuration and administration of digital learning systems, including the LMS/LXP, learning community and associated platforms.
- Configure learning resources, content and learner experiences within the LMS, ensuring they align with organisational and learning objectives.
- Manage users, roles, permissions and learner groups across digital learning platforms.
- Use xAPI and Docebo Flow to track and record learning activity, support personalisation and generate meaningful insight into learning impact.
- Identify and resolve system issues, making minor code or configuration changes where appropriate to improve the learner experience.
- Escalate more complex technical issues to external vendors, suppliers or service providers where required.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making and monitor key learning and system metrics.
- Provide guidance, training and ongoing support to colleagues using the digital learning systems.
- Support the development and delivery of the education systems roadmap, ensuring system changes and developments are managed effectively alongside available technical and resource capacity.
- Maintain an effective QA and testing process for learning content and digital platform configuration.
- Contribute to the development of system governance, policies, procedures and standards.
- Keep up to date with developments, emerging technologies and best practice across learning systems and digital learning technology.
Skills and experience
- Proven experience in digital systems administration within an L&D or learning environment.
- Experience configuring and managing digital learning platforms, including an LMS/LXP, ideally Docebo
- Strong attention to detail, with a high level of commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate meaningful insight to a range of stakeholders.
- Experience managing user accounts, roles, permissions and learner groups.
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues and identify appropriate solutions, including making minor technical or code changes where required.
- Experience producing reports and using system data to support decision-making.
- Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience managing projects involving external suppliers, agencies or technology partners.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education
- Degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent professional experience.
