Enterprise Account Executive

Our client is a fast growing, niche but global L&D solutions provider delivering professional IT training, certification programmes and workforce upskilling solutions to large multinational organisations, delivered via digital learning, virtual classrooms and in person formats. They are seeking an L&D or SaaS sales professional with 5+ years of experience to identify and acquire new business opportunities and expand existing enterprise accounts. The role requires an accomplished sales professional with a proven ability to negotiate and close high value, multi year agreements in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed individual quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for enterprise level customers across multiple regions.
  • Identify, pursue, and close large, complex, multi year commercial opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with C suite executives and senior business leaders.
  • Conduct executive level discovery conversations focused on business priorities, workforce challenges and organisational objectives.
  • Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, decision makers, and procurement functions.
  • Position the organisation’s learning and talent development solutions as strategic business initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver high impact executive presentations, proposals and business cases.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions with enterprise customers.
  • Develop and manage enterprise opportunity pipelines and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Operations teams to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, portfolio sales and multi year agreements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and developments within their niche sector.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and client engagements globally.
  • Maintain accurate activity, pipeline and forecasting data within CRM and sales engagement platforms.

Skills and experience

  • 5+ years of successful B2B enterprise sales experience, ideally within digital learning, L&D or a related area of SaaS.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding enterprise revenue targets and closing high value, complex deals.
  • Significant experience managing long cycle, consultative, multi stakeholder sales processes.
  • Demonstrable experience engaging and negotiating with C suite executives and senior decision makers.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to build compelling commercial cases.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build executive level relationships.
  • Highly strategic thinker with strong commercial judgement and problem solving capability.
  • Excellent account planning and pipeline management skills.
  • Self motivated, resilient and results driven.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, international and evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Education

  • Degree or equivalent preferable but not essential
