L&D Account Manager - Public Sector

£40K Basic Salary + £65K OTE

Our client is on the hunt for a remarkable Account Manager. If your success is rooted in people skills, strategic thinking, and an inventive approach to client relationships, especially within the Public Sector, you might be the one. We desire someone who is not only target-oriented and an excellent communicator but also aspires to elevate their sales career in an energetic, creative setting. This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days a week from the London office.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Director for the rollout of new business campaigns in-line with the sales vision.
  • Identify and target new client opportunities within the public sector.
  • Achieve consistent sales growth, meeting or exceeding agreed targets.
  • Consult with clients to create solutions which address business objectives.
  • Cultivate and sustain positive relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee account management, ensuring contract negotiations optimize profits.
  • Accurately forecast and monitor critical account metrics.
  • Compile reports detailing account statuses.
  • Partner with the sales unit to capitalize on territory opportunities.
  • Expand the customer portfolio and take charge of client accounts as a crucial team member.


  • Mastery in consultative selling and adept at managing sales pipelines.
  • Convincing approach to creative tasks.
  • Target-oriented and dynamic personality.
  • Exceptional listening and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proven skill in engaging and influencing executive and C-Suite stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting tailored solutions addressing client needs.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple account growths with keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.


  • Experience as a Business Development Exec, Account Manager, or similar roles within LD in the Public Sector.
  • A background selling digital and blended learning solutions.


  • Educated to a degree level is desirable.
