Responsibilities
- • Partner with senior sales leaders to understand capability needs, business priorities, and performance goals
- • Diagnose performance challenges and translate them into practical, outcome-led learning solutions
- • Influence and shape L&D strategy within the sales function through a consultative approach
- • Manage expectations across multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities
- • Own the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of sales-focused learning interventions
- • Apply modern learning principles (including 70/20/10 and transfer of learning) to create impactful, behaviour-led solutions
- • Build clear business cases for learning investment, including ROI/ROE and measurable outcomes
- • Evaluate effectiveness and continuously improve programmes using data and insight
- • Deliver engaging learning experiences across 1:1, group, virtual, and in-person settings
- • Provide coaching and support for sales capability development initiatives
- • Flex delivery approach, balancing internal delivery with external partner support where appropriate
- • Manage relationships with external learning partners, including performance reviews
- • Identify and onboard new suppliers to support evolving capability needs
- • Ensure value for money and measurable impact from external partnerships
- • Contribute to wider strategic initiatives across the business
- • Represent L&D in cross-functional projects, ensuring learning solutions align with business outcomes
Skills and experience
- • Proven experience working with enterprise sales teams or within a sales-focused L&D role
- • Strong background in Learning & Development at a senior or consultant level
- • Experience designing and delivering impactful, measurable learning interventions
- • Experience using data and insight to measure learning impact and drive improvement
- • Experience within a sales environment highly desirable
- • Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing at leadership level
- • Strong understanding of instructional design and modern learning experience principles
- • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- • Strong facilitation and communication skills, both virtual and in-person
- • A proactive, commercially aware, and performance-driven mindset
Education
- • L&D related qualifications are desirable but not essential
