Business Development Manager - Compliance

£45K-£55K basic salary + bonus

A well-known digital learning solutions provider are going through an exciting period of growth and looking for an outstanding candidate to contribute to this. You will have a significant input into a new portfolio of content by researching sectors and client needs. You’ll build your own pipeline and be fully prepared to sell this fantastic portfolio in the later months.

Key responsibilities

  • Be involved in launching a brand-new portfolio of elearning within areas such as compliance & ethical leadership
  • Research relevant sectors and get a good understanding of client needs within the industry
  • Relay relevant information back to the product development team and be involved in the creation process
  • Create a realistic pipeline and keep in contact with prospect up until launch of product
  • Once launched, you’ll be fully immersed in the selling of the fantastic new product, taking ownership and being an expert in this new portfolio
  • Consultatively sell the portfolio adding bespoke features and tailoring to individual customer needs
  • Meet realistic sales targets as agreed and discussed with Sales Director


  • Any sales training qualifications are desirable


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable


  • Strong commercial acumen with significant client facing experience
  • Experience helping launch a new portfolio of elearning is desirable
  • Proven track record within digital agency, e-learning or learning & development (L&D)
  • Ambition and drive, career focused
  • Adept at working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Passionate about learning technology, designing creative and innovative solutions
  • Excellent rapport building skills

  • Excellent research and persuasion skills
