Account Director

c£45K Basic Salary + Car Allowance

An exciting role with a successful, fast paced and growing organisation that involves key account ownership, excellent relationship building and troubleshooting skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a demanding role where the balance of client satisfaction and service delivery is critical.

A Fantastic role for someone with proven client relationship skills within L&D

Key responsibilities

  • Ownership of all aspects of the client relationship
  • Attending monthly and quarterly reviews with clients to drive client satisfaction
  • Managing the relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the performance and delivery from the client team to ensure the highest standard using best practice processes and proactively managing the client relationship
  • Manage all new client opportunities to drive growth
  • Ownership of large-scale programmes and requirements for clients in conjunction with the service delivery team and supplier management
  • Support sales as required during renewals, new bids and new business development activity
  • Ownership for team SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Improve results through performance management and coaching sessions
  • Submit sales forecasting to senior management
  • Ensure that the team achieves profitability targets for all clients

Qualifications

  • Any sales training qualifications are desirable

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable

Experience

  • Minimum of three years of experience within L&D / training sector
  • 3 years’ experience working in a similar or sales related position
  • Fantastic client relationship management experience
  • Extensive experience of working within a service delivery environment whilst having to manage multi-party relationships
  • Minimum of three years of people management experience
  • Real focus on customers including account management, service delivery and customer service
  • Demonstrated experience of managing service issues and proactively implementing solutions to meet client needs
  • A mentality of always delivering on commitments, with a positive attitude
  • Process driven with experience and understanding of managing to ‘best practice’ standards
