Learning and Development Business Partner

A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Learning and Development Business Partner to join our client, a large UK retailer. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across the distribution centres to understand learning needs and to design and deliver impactful learning for the leadership teams that will enhance employee performance.This role is a field based position, with travel daily into different distribution centres, predominantly in the North West of England.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to diagnose performance gaps and learning needs within the distribution centres, specifically for the leadership teams.
  • Design and deliver engaging training workshops
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders, managers, and employees.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on learning and development initiatives.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders to champion learning culture and continuous improvement.
  • Regularly assess program effectiveness and adjust strategies based on feedback and data.
  • Evaluate the impact of learning initiatives on employee performance and business outcomes.

Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with employees
  • Knowledgeable in adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Ability to deliver engaging and relatable training sessions
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in learning and development
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training for employees working in distribution centres
  • Experience of delivering impactful soft skills training on topics such as leadership development, communication styles, motivation etc

Education

  • Learning and development related qualifications are desirable but not essential, e.g. CIPD
