Apprenticeships – People Development Partner

After an exciting stage of change and growth, our successful well-known corporate client is looking for an Apprenticeship People Development Partner who will be responsible for the management and delivery of strategic projects that support the effective delivery of apprenticeships.

As well as providing training and ongoing support to colleagues your role will involve promoting apprenticeships travelling frequently throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with external organisations and monitor developments that could affect the successful delivery of apprenticeships
  • Manage the implementation of new apprentice standards
  • Manage the implementation and development of apprenticeship programs from go-live to execution and reporting
  • Develop and deliver high quality learning materials to support the efficient delivery of apprentice programs
  • Create an annual learning program for all apprentice programs
  • Provide support at promotional events in relation to apprenticeships


  • Full understanding of the apprenticeship cycle including recruitment, individual training planning, assessment and review
  • Understanding of the learning cycle and various methods/tools for delivery of learning in an effective and cost efficient manner


  • Educated in apprenticeship reforms and how these affect the delivery of apprentice programs


  • Experience managing projects and meeting deadlines
  • Experience in training delivery, facilitation and coaching skills


  • Able to use Insights Discovery Profiles or other psychometric profiling
  • Able to work under pressure when dealing with competing priorities
  • Able to create interesting and exciting content to engage a learning audience
  • Excellent user of MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel and other related systems
  • Commercial outlook with good time management skills
