We are looking for passionate Python developer to join our team and help us create dynamic software applications for our clients. Working for a leading software development house operating with Government and Public sector clients, this role will allow for hybrid working from our main office in South Manchester. You will play an active part in contributing to projects and participate in team activities such as planning, reviews and design meetings.

Responsibilities
- Development of new features for a range of products
- Participation in team activities such as planning, design, review, and coordination meetings
- Fixing defects, bugs and contributing to ancillary parts of the project as required (tooling, build systems, automated testing)
- Maintain relevant project records.
- Other general duties as requested
Skills
- Python Programming Language in a web application context such as Django framework
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS
- Strong unit test and debugging skills
- Refactoring, maintaining and extending legacy applications
- Automated Web Testing
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
Experience
- Experience using Qt4, pyQt and other Python UI toolkits
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and RDBMS
Education
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field preferred but not essential
Qualifications
