Business Development Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a growing global leader in assessment and certification. You will be proficient in developing new business with experience developing current accounts.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing new business in untouched prospect areas and research new areas of interest
  • Developing and strengthening client relationships via consultative and advisory based account management
  • Attending and networking at industry conferences and seminars
  • Acting as the first line of contact for client queries and escalating issues where necessary
  • Presenting and meeting with clients
  • Oversee projects and solve any issues that arise

Qualifications

  • Any sales training qualifications are desirable

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is essential

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years’ of experience within a B2B sales role within the learning sector.
  • Proven consultative sales skills in an account management focused position with strong networking credentials
  • Ability to develop and grow accounts through outstanding relationship building and customer service
  • Desire to learn and continuously develop
  • Adept at engaging with senior, C-level stakeholders and decision makers
  • Articulate and confident, adept at rapport building
  • Possessing an excellent telephone manner with face-to-face sales experience
  • Proven achievement of personal sales targets
  • Following up on inbound enquiries and converting these to sales
  • Conscientious with a genuine desire to excel
