The Head of Experiential Learning Design will be responsible for leading the design team, ensuring the development of the exceptional learning programmes and custom design solutions for their external clients. In this leadership role, you will also be considering new processes to improve efficiency in the design function and drive continued success.

Responsibilities
- Lead the learning product design team to continuously improve the design capabilities
- Allocate projects effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
- Provide quality control over design outputs and production in line with the brand
- Lead the learning product development, contributing to the product roadmap with the project team
- Manage the design of complex custom design projects for clients
- Support the team with high level instructional design
- Develop new learning products that advance the brand and the proposition strategy
- Confidently pitch design ideas to clients, utilising strong L&D design experience
- Work with marketing teams to implement marketing strategy
- Liaise with sales team to generate ideas for pitching the blended learning solutions
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders, clients and internal team members
- Strong understanding of design process including experiential design methodology, knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals
- Knowledgeable in Instructional Design methodologies
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Learning Designer or Senior Instructional Designer type role
- Experience of designing blended learning on leadership development
- Experience of managing a small creative design team
Education
- Relevant qualifications in learning design, behavioral science or psychology are desirable
