Our client, a forward and strategic thinking professional services organisation, is looking to grow its learning and development team with a trainer who has a passion for developing and delivering the organisation’s L&D offering for internal operations. You will be responsible for the design, creation, and resourcing of bespoke training programme. This will include a full blend of learning methods, such as traditional training and eLearning. This role would require travel into the office in Yorkshire twice a week, with flexibility for remote working three days a week.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop new and existing training programmes using appropriate delivery methods e.g., E-learning, classroom training
- Liaise with Subject Matter Experts and senior management to ensure the requirements for new courses are met
- Measure the effectiveness of the learning solutions and continuously improve training by making recommendations and implementing improvements to the training materials
- Working closely with the Digital learning specialists to create engaging and innovative training materials
Skills
- Confident and effective communicator, verbal and non-verbal
- Proven people management skills, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and a great eye for detail
- Well-organised, initiative individual with strong time management skills and the ability to work in line with the company’s priorities and deadlines
- Highly proficient in using Microsoft office including MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience working within an LD role, designing, and developing successful training programmes
- Experience of training within a commercial environment is desirable
- Ability to utilise traditional and modern training methods e.g., coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning etc.
Education
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience within a commercial environment
- LD CIPD qualification or equivalent are desirable
