An excellent opportunity to join a growing L&D function, playing a key part in shaping how learning is experienced across the organisation. Its ideal for a creative and proactive L&D professional who enjoys variety, project work, and designing engaging learning experiences that genuinely connect with employees.Youll work closely with stakeholders across the business to bring learning initiatives to life, from digital learning assets and learning campaigns to supporting the smooth delivery of L&D programmes. Alongside creative work, youll also help ensure the operational side of L&D runs effectively, supporting systems, reporting, and learning administration.This role is hybrid with 3 days a week in the office (Manchester or Staffordshire) and 2 days remote working.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of engaging learning solutions using modern learning methodologies
  • Create digital learning assets, visual content, and communications to promote learning initiatives
  • Coordinate a variety of L&D projects, ensuring timelines, collaboration, and delivery remain on track
  • Manage key L&D operational activities including:
    • Uploading and managing courses within the learning platform
    • Assigning learning pathways and maintaining course content
    • Producing participation, compliance, and completion reports
    • Supporting learners with access or basic technical queries
    • Ensuring system data accuracy and housekeeping
  • Manage day-to-day L&D administration including the L&D inbox, purchase orders, and compliance reporting
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide guidance on learning approaches
  • Support the promotion and marketing of L&D activities to increase engagement across the business
  • Gather feedback and learning data to measure impact and provide meaningful insights
  • Contribute fresh ideas and creative thinking to continuously improve the learner experience
  • Optionally facilitate workshops or learning sessions where appropriate

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present learning data
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new learning approaches and technologies

Experience

  • A minimum of 1- 2 years experience working in an LD Business Partner or LD Advisor role
  • Understanding of learning theory and what drives effective engagement in learning
  • Experience supporting learning platforms or digital learning tools
  • Exposure to LD project work or learning programme coordination

Education

  • Relevant qualification in Learning Development, HR, or a related field e.g. CIPD desirable but not essential
  • Professional development in learning design, digital learning, or instructional design is advantageous
