This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and growing organisation.As a Training Consultant, youll play a key role in delivering high-quality training on database technologies, including Oracle and SQL. Youll work with learners at different stages of their careers, helping them build practical database skills that can be applied in real-world environments.Alongside delivery, youll contribute to the development of new training content and support wider business growth activities.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging database training courses both virtually and in person
- Facilitate learning across topics such as database administration, advanced administration, backup and recovery, installation, upgrades, and performance tuning
- Design and develop training materials, modules, and supporting resources
- Adapt delivery style and content to suit different audiences and learning needs
- Continuously update training content to reflect industry trends and best practice
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance training delivery
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and identify opportunities for further training support
Skills
- Confident and engaging presentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to tailor content for different audiences
- Excellent organisation and time management
Experience
- Experience delivering training in database technologies e.g. Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL
- Strong knowledge of database technologies
- Background in designing and delivering structured learning programmes or workshops
- Experience in a training role within a corporate or technical environment
- Comfortable working with both virtual and in-person delivery formats
Education
- Relevant certifications in database technologies desirable but not essential
