In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design team and the creation of the learning product. Your primary objective is to run a high-functioning design team that supports the organisation’s pursuit of high-quality product, whilst helping to grow revenue and profitability in line with targets, globally.

Responsibilities
- Liaise with CEO to identify and implement strategic global Design Team initiatives, with a focus on driving profitability and allocating resource effectively
- Lead and manage the global design team, ensuring consistency with design processes across the business
- Support the Team Leads to manage their local functions and P&L’s
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams, to improve client satisfaction
- Support CEO with researching and project managing delivery of future product suites
- Support and develop team members, create flexible talent pipelines and succession plan
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently support client facing business development, deliver training and occasionally present key notes
- Interpersonal gravitas, with strong influence and presence skills
- Strong commercial and operational business acumen
- Knowledgeable in Instructional Design methodologies
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience leading and managing diverse teams
- Proven experience conducting quality assurance on learning and development products and solutions
- Experience of working with learning underpinned by psychological and behavioral science
- Previous hands-on Instructional Design experience, ideally for external commercial or corporate clients
- Experience of managing PL
- Experience structuring, improving, and managing the integration of design operational project management systems
- Ability to convert latest trends into learning product to help drive sales
Education
- Relevant qualifications in behavioral science or psychology are essential
