Our client is a leading learning solutions provider with an enviable client base, providing a variety of L&D and learning technology solutions. These include digital and blended learning solutions, digital transformation initiatives and leadership programmes. They're looking for a proactive, solutions focused, problem solving sales professional with a proven track record of successfully growing high value key accounts within the commercial L&D arena.

  • Develop strategic account development plans
  • Achievement of account growth targets via consultative sales and an in-depth understanding of client sector and challenges
  • Achievement of personal sales targets (Circa £1M+ per annum)
  • Lead and mentor a small team of Account Managers
  • Accountable for the success of allocated key accounts
  • Position and sell the learning solutions of both the company and strategic partners in areas such as LXP, LMS, VR, AR, gamification etc.
  • Gain trusted adviser status with clients, internal stakeholders and partners
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the sales, learning design, delivery and consulting teams
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by ensuring service level agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are met
  • Ensure that all offerings are costed effectively and accurately, to ensure agreed profitability targets
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in L&D, learning technology, digital transformation etc.
  • Assemble cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of specific client requirements
  • Create compelling sales proposals and responses to bids, tenders etc.
  • Speak and present at relevant industry conferences, host webinars etc.
  • Provide clients with market insights, research and thought leadership
  • Identify new partnering opportunities that complement existing offerings


  • In-depth knowledge of trends and providers within the L&D and learning technologies arena

  • A track record within the commercial LD arena successfully growing strategic, key accounts
  • Proven ability to sell a broad range of learning solutions, including bespoke digital and blended learning programmes, learning platforms LXPLMS
  • A proven track record of success selling to senior stakeholders from LD, HR, IT and Procurement backgrounds
  • Experience of leading and mentoring sales teams
  • An established network of senior LD industry contacts
  • Proven success achieving personal sales targets of 1M per annum within a commercial LD setting
  • Experience of managing and growing high value clients
  • Proven success and high win rates responding to sales proposals formal tenders, RFPs and RFQs


  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent is an advantage


Any qualifications in sales, marketing or business administration is an advantage
