An outstanding opportunity to join a software and digital services provider with a global presence. The role focuses on sales of software and other services to the Education Sector, particularly primary, secondary and Multi Academy Trusts. Home based with occasional travel to a local office (UK wide) and for client visits.

  • Identify, develop and close opportunities within the primary and secondary education arena
  • Create and implement account development strategies for existing clients
  • Consistently achieve or exceed personal sales targets
  • Keep abreast of developments within the EdTech arena as they relate to the Education Sector
  • Ensure proactive management and accuracy of sales pipeline and sales forecasts
  • Utilise sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and develop opportunities with key stakeholders and prospects
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of the Education Sector in a consultative sales capacity
  • Co-ordinate activities such as bid writing and responses to tenders with the wider team


  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the (Primary and Secondary) Education Sector

  • Able to grasp technical product information and relate it to the value proposition regarding education sector challenges

  • Experience of selling into the Primary andor Secondary school arena
  • Experience of selling software and related services in such areas as managed services, infrastructure, cyber security, anti-virus, classroom management etc.
  • Proven track record of achieving personal sales targets
  • Adept at developing and closing sometimes complex sales and sales cycles
  • Confident closing sales order values of 100k and above


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is beneficial.


A sales or business related qualification is an advantage.
