New Business Executive

£35k Basic Salary + OTE

Our client delivers a diverse portfolio of IT training and certifications to corporate and individual clients globally. As a New Business Executive, you will be responsible for securing new accounts and growing our market penetration across different vendor categories. This is a hybrid role, combining home working with working out of our clients' London office on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

  • Plan and execute a sales campaign to win back absentee clients and secure new business across regions EMEA, NAM and APAC regions
  • Ensure all leads are followed up in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct research and preparation for your calls and meetings
  • Accurately log all sales activity on the CRM (Salesforce)
  • Work in collaboration with the Account Managers, Customer Success, Marketing, Conference Production, Finance and Operations teams
  • Able to travel to designated events when required


  • Demonstrable experience developing strategic account plans
  • Customer service oriented with excellent people skills and strong communicator
  • Highly organized with great time management skills; able to prioritize and support multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a high paced environment
  • Goal oriented, motivated to ensure and demonstrate client ROI
  • Enthusiastic and energized in a fast-paced business environment
  • Comfortable having high-level conversations with senior level executives
  • Tech-savvy and quick to understand new software concepts
  • Professional with a friendly demeanor, organized and quick thinking


  • 2 years sales experience from events and media backgrounds
  • Proven track record in consistently high call rates
  • Up to date on EdTech trends


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
