Business Development Manager - Hybrid

£40K Basic Salary + OTE

Our client is looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager for their training Solutions Department. The role is home based with the expectation of working from the office based in the North West one day a week.

  • Generate revenue by acquiring new clients, managing current relationships and building valuable partnerships that will pave new paths into the market.
  • Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and partner organisations to implement new digital training and ensure these solutions are effectively deployed to meet the clients' objectives.
  • Securing additional and ongoing revenues from existing clients.
  • increasing market penetration through developing and executing market strategies for new and existing businesses.
  • Presenting proposals and concepts to meet clients' specifications and business requirements that deliver to time, quality and budget requirements.
You will be accountable for business development, account management and learning technology consultancy.


  • Strong communication, credibility, commercial acumen.
  • Passion for Learning and Development, Education and Training, digital learning approaches and business transformation processes. 
  • Collaboration, customer focus and a positive attitude are essential.


  • 1-2 years experience in a full sales cycle SaaS sales role.
  • Experience in discovery, pitching, closing, and delivering strategic digital learning transformation programmes.
  • Understanding of key account management and a track record of delivering growth and new business through long term relationship management is expected.
  • Experience in a consultative B2B sales environment, e-learning or taring sales role is essential.


  • Educated to a degree level is desirable.
