L&D Account & Project Manager - Pharma/Life Sciences

£55K-£65K Basic + £90K OTE

Our client provides high quality, bespoke digital and blended learning solutions to a variety of sectors. They work closely with a number of large, multinational organisations within the pharmaceutical and life sciences arena are looking to hire an Account Manager with proven project management skills. The main focus of the role will be to strengthen relationships and grow client accounts whilst acting as the conduit between the internal project management team and the end client. Significant experience working with pharm and/or life sciences companies is essential, along with commercial L&D experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen client stakeholder relationships to effectively grow accounts
  • Be the main point of contact for assigned client accounts
  • Identify and engage with new contacts, influencers and decision makers within existing accounts
  • Conduct discovery calls and consult with clients to identify learning objectives and scope appropriate solutions and outcomes
  • Ensure successful implementation of learning initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including learning design, project management and sales/marketing
  • Assist in the management of learning projects and programmes, monitoring project progress and identifying risks, ensuring that projects run on time and to budget.

Skills

  • Excellent client relationship building skills
  • Excellent organisatonal and project management skills, ideally formally qualified (e.g. Prince2, Agile)
  • Adept at consulting with clients on learning needs

Experience

  • Commercial LD experience within the pharmaceutical andor life sciences arena.
  • Proven experience working with and selling to senior stakeholders e.g. Heads of LD, compliance etc. within pharmaceutical and life science related organisations
  • Proven success in a role focused on account growth e.g. Account Manager, Account Director, Business Development Manager

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent preferred
