An exciting career opportunity for an ambitious and career driven sales professional who has also succeeded in a sales management role (formal or informal) focused on outbound lead generation.

Managing a team within a growing, global SaaS provider responsible for generating leads for the wider sales team, you will be assertive with excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills. A successful track record achieving both personal and team sales targets within the SaaS arena, along with a strong knowledge of social selling is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading and inspiring a team of proactive lead generators
  • Maintaining a consistent level of proactive, outbound business development activity
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual team targets
  • Creating purpose, maintaining motivation and delivering continued improvement within the team
  • Coaching and mentoring the team, with a focus on continuous development
  • Ensuring that each member of the sales team takes responsibility and accountability for their personal sales targets
  • Leverage effective social selling via technology such as LinkedIn and Twitter


  • Sales or management related qualification are an advantage


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent would be an advantage


  • A minimum of two years of experience managing a sales team focused on business development and lead generation, with demonstrable success
  • At least two years of experience in a prior role involving business development, lead generation within a SaaS environment
  • A proven track record in a results-driven sales environment
  • Proven experience defining, measuring, interpreting and presenting sales performance objectives
  • At least one endorsement from a current or previous member of your sales team previously managed by yourself


  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to motivate on both an individual and team basis
  • Adept at creating a sense of accountability within your teams and individuals
  • Ability to lead by example with outstanding lead generation and sales skills
  • Attention to detail, possessing the ability to identify individual learning styles within your team
  • Ability to utilise technology to empower your team to perform effectively and efficiently
  • A proactive, ‘can do’ attitude
  • Ability to collaborate with, influence and achieve productive relationships with internal senior stakeholders
  • A strong knowledge of harnessing social selling techniques effectively
  • Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
  • Fluency in one European language would be an advantage e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish
