An exciting opportunity for an experienced Military or Merchant Navigator to deliver training and develop learning content in support of a range of navigation products. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of training support materials and the delivery of training internationally, specifically but not limited to Navigation Simulator Training and related products and to develop efficient working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders supporting academy objectives. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities
• The delivery of technical product training in the use of electronic navigation systems to customers and employees.
• Competently use a range of software and media to create dynamic blended learning content in the production of training support materials and solutions for new and existing products. • Product demonstration of electronic navigation systems to customers and the promotion of the company’s electronic navigation products.
• Oversee the production and quality of training support materials created by sub contractors
• Promote performance consultancy models working with SME and other stakeholders.
• Design and develop effective interactive learning using modern design and learning delivery methodologies with a focus on performance outcomes
• The delivery of “Train the Trainer” courses in electronic navigation systems.
• Quality Control, testing and auditing of learning products internally and through external partners and agents.
• Effective project, budget, and time management of deliverables in a timely manner
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry, pedagogy and learning tool developments.
Skills
•Computer literate and be proficient in the operation of MS 365 suite applications.
• Able to produce written materials and presentations to a high standard in English.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are an essential part of this job role.
• Able to motivate self and others to ensure that efficient and timely production of training materials and quality is maintained.
• Stakeholder expectation management and an ability to influence so that core objectives can be achieved.
• Able and willing to travel internationally periodically.
• Strong team orientation dedicated to team and business success.
Experience
- Electronical Navigation Systems ECDIS and ARPA Radar experience
- Experience of authoring digital learning content using a range of authoring tools
- Training and instructional experience
- Simulator instructor experience
- Quality control and internal auditing

- Qualified Merchant or Military Navigator to master of second officer level
- Educated to higher level in English and Mathematics
