Account Executive

£25K-£30K Basic Salary - £40K-£44K OTE

Are you looking to join a company with a solid progression structure? If so, I have the perfect opportunity for you. This role is an even split of business development and account management/customer success and will allow you to process into a senior position 6-12 months of successful employment. You will be joining a fast-growing company and selling a successful Saas product. Although this role involves new business, it is an extremely warm sell.

Key responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with new and exciting clients
  • Use a consultative approach to sell their fantastic Saas offering
  • Provide outstanding customer service to existing accounts and ensure they are benefitting from the product whilst upselling to the best of your ability
  • Hit and exceed your own personal monetary target
  • Confidently approach and sell to c-level Learning and Development (L&D) and HR professionals
  • Conduct presentations and demos when needed


  • Any sales training qualifications are desirable


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable


  • 2 years’ experience in a B2B sales position, ideally selling to HR professionals
  • Experience selling an IT/tech related product is desirable but not essential
  • Experience selling to C-level customers – ideally within learning and/or HR
  • Ideally you will have working for a start-up technology company
  • A great interest/understanding of technology
  • Experience hitting and exceeding a personal monetary target


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship building ability and research skills
  • Great time management and organisational skills
  • Fantastic persuasion skills
