Head of Demand Generation

£60K-£70K Basic Salary

Our client is seeking a Head of Demand Generation to devise, implement and lead the global marketing strategy for the demand generation arm of the marketing services business unit. You’ll be responsible for delivering complex client campaigns across the full marketing mix; leveraging digital media, sponsored content, video and broadcasting activations that generate highly qualified MQLs for our client base. This is a hybrid role, combining home working with working out of our clients' London office on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Responsibilities

  • This role will involve line management responsibility for two marketing executives, working closely with the Group Head of Marketing
  • Act as a strategic partner to Content, Client Success and Sales teams, to develop annual marketing plans and support Go-to-Market initiatives aligned to the business’ growth strategy
  • Produce, execute, measure, and report on global marketing plans and campaigns developed via multi-marketing channels to drive awareness, generate and nurture leads
  • Understand the company’s products and the competitive market landscape to create segmented persona-driven and product messaging
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, the website, microsites and inventory of marketing assets
  • Develop and manage web and social media content assets, and SEO and SEM programs
  • Utilise Marketo to build email campaigns that reach target segments and nurture leads towards conversion
  • Partner with the events team to deliver exceptional client experiences that reflect our clients' brand; set and proactively collect event ROI metrics
  • Leverage global content from internal thought leaders and recommend new topics to enhance client and prospect engagement
  • Create and maintain an inventory of assets to be used for sales enablement and events
  • Seek ways to improve key marketing metrics such as campaign response rates, event attendance rates, feedback scores, quality of leads, thought leadership awareness, new content/product/service introduction and adoption, and brand awareness building

Skills

  • A strategic mindset, able to develop creative plans which generate maximum volumes of MQLs
  • Strong copywriting skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation, stakeholder management, organisational and time management skills - a strong individual contributor and team player capable of balancing and prioritising multiple projects
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years in a marketing or communications role, or similar experience
  • Experience writing persona-driven and product messaging that clearly communicates product benefits
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing across digital, social, and
  • broadcasting channels to drive B2B marketing campaigns
  • Experience on MarketoPardot and Salesforce would be advantageous
  • Experience in managing and executing digital marketing projects
  • Previous people management experience essential
  • Analytical Skills Experience in analysing market data, determining KPIROI metrics
  • and providing strategic insights that map program performance against goals
