Account Manager - Healthcare

£40K-£45K Basic Salary + OTE

Our client is looking for an experienced Account Manager to build relationships and develop new business within an existing account base to achieve the allocated monthly and annual sales target in line with the company’s strategic goals. This is an office based role, although there is scope to move to a hybrid model in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Target prospects and existing customers for new business cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Position our clients services and solutions to prospects and customers using a consultative approach.
  • Understand our clients value proposition, how it fits in the market place and communicate it to customers and prospects.
  • Work to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as specified by the Sales Manager.
  • Conduct face to face client meetings, strengthening relationships and increasing the size/ amount of sales opportunities.
  • Understand the key business objectives of customers and prospects and their future plans.
  • Maintain and update accurate data and reports in the CRM database and other sales systems.
  • Produce accurate quotes for customers. Demonstrate correct usage of pricing and discount models at all times.

Skills

  • Effective communicator.
  • Be able to take instruction and work with a degree of initiative and autonomy.
  • Have the ability to solve problems and issues with minimal management help.
  • Be of smart appearance at all times in connection to work. 
  • Must have a full UK driving licence with access to a car.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/365
 

Experience

  • Several years successful experience in a B2B sales role

Education

  • Minimum GCSE Grade C Maths English.
  • Higher Education Award e.g. Hons Degree, HND is desirable
